In 1978, con artists Irving Rosenfeld and Sydney Prosser have met, started off a relationship, and are working together. Sydney has improved Rosenfeld's scams, posing as English aristocrat "Lady Edith Greensley". Sydney helps Richie adjust an FBI secretary into creating an unauthorized wire transfer connected with $2, 000, 000. When Stoddard's employer, Anthony Amado, hears of the particular operation, he praises Richie's initiative, pressuring Stoddard to continue the particular operation.
