The young girl Tiana and your ex friend, Charlotte La Bouff, are told the story in the Frog Prince by Tiana's mum while she makes a dress for Charlotte. Later that night at your home, Tiana and her father help make gumbo while he tells your ex how good food brings individuals together and about his imagine owning his own restaurant. A few years later after her dad dies, Tiana is a young waitress moving into 1921 New Orleans, Louisiana which has a passion for the culinary martial arts. Tiana works at two different diners so that you can raise money to buy a vintage sugar mill, which she plans to turn into the restaurant her father desired. When Eli "Big Daddy" Los angeles Bouff, who is Charlotte's father plus the mayor of the town, invites Prince Naveen to his masquerade soccer ball Charlotte hires Tiana for catering services. Eli seeks to welcome this recently arrived Prince Naveen of Maldonia being an eligible suitor to his child. Tiana is thrilled to finally have sufficient to purchase and renovate this old sugar mill into your ex restaurant.
The disinherited Prince Naveen, penniless and unskilled, is intent on marrying a wealthy woman instead of learning a trade. He and his valet Lawrence encounter Medical professional. Facilier, a witch doctor who convinces the pair he can improve both their existence. Instead, Facilier transforms Naveen right frog and gives Lawrence some sort of voodoo charm that transforms his appearance to that of Naveen's when worn. Facilier hopes for Lawrence, under the guise of Naveen, to marry Charlotte so that you can gain access to her father’s lot of money; Lawrence will get 40% of the usb ports as payment for his guide.
