The story is scheduled in the Valley of Serenity, a fictional land in historical China inhabited by anthropomorphic animals. Po, a panda, is often a kung fu fanatic who idolizes your Furious Five —Tigress, Monkey, Mantis, Viper, and Crane — a quintet connected with kung fu masters trained through the red panda Shifu. As this individual helps his goose father Mr. Ping with his noodle restaurant, Po is not able to achieve his dream of being a kung fu master himself.
Oogway, an old tortoise in addition to Shifu's mentor, has a perspective that Shifu's former student, your evil snow leopard Tai Lung, will escape from prison and come back to the Valley of Peace to consider revenge for being denied your Dragon Scroll, which is asked hold the secret to unlimited power. Shifu is alarmed and sends his messenger, the goose Zeng, to stop Tai Lung's escape.
