Carrie taking walks through the streets of New york city thinking about events that have got happened to her and her friends during sex and the City. Charlotte is living a happy marriage together with Harry Goldenblatt, but she had a hard time getting pregnant, so they adopted a woman named Lily; Miranda has settled down within Brooklyn with Steve (David Eigenberg) to improve their son Brady together; and Samantha has relocated her business to Los angeles to be close to Jones (Jason Lewis), who is today a superstar, although she misses her outdated life and takes every possiblity to fly East to be together with Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte.
Carrie herself is in a relationship with Massive (Chris Noth), and they are viewing apartments with plans to relocate in together. Carrie falls fond of a penthouse far from their cost range. Big immediately agrees to money. Carrie offers to sell her own apartment, although she also voices her fear that she'd have no legal rights to their home in case they different, as they are not betrothed. To quell her fears, Big shows that they marry. Carrie announces what is this great to her friends. Charlotte recommends her longtime gay friend Anthony seeing that wedding planner.
Miranda confesses to her friends that she's been so busy she hasn’t received sex with Steve in half a year. When Steve confesses he has cheated on her behalf, Miranda is devastated and quickly separates from him. At Carrie in addition to Big's rehearsal dinner, Steve will try to reconcile with Miranda, but she rebuffs him. Still annoyed with Steve, she tells Massive bluntly that marriage ruins every thing.
On the wedding day, Big is too fearful to pass through with the ceremony. Carrie, devastated, flees wedding. Samantha stays behind to crystal clear the guests. Big changes his mind in addition to catches up with Carrie so that they can reconcile. Carrie furiously attacks him or her with her bouquet while he or she earns scathing looks from Miranda in addition to Charlotte. To console Carrie, the four women take the honeymoon vacation that Carrie had booked to be able to Mexico, where they de-stress in addition to collect themselves.
